Study in God’s word requires us to examine opinions and views that may not align with our own views. We expect that may not always agree with all information included within this website; however, we believe that this site contains significant sound teaching, principles, and doctrine.

We are evaluating traditional Baptist principles and comparing them to the Word of God so that you will be “thoroughly furnished.” What we really want is you to learn, compare and grow to that you might better understand our Supreme Standard – the Word of God. The website’s purpose and design are here to help you do that.

We will use resources and information that even website creators, editorial team and boards may not agree with so that we can improve your study of God’s Word. When we don’t have majority opinion on teaching or doctrine, we will do our best to document it in some way. We also want each article, recommendation, lecture, and book to be vetted by at least three members of our Editorial Board and considered worthy to share.

In evaluating the Holy Bible from the traditional Baptist viewpoint; we consider the following list as some of the more important essential doctrinal points:

1. We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is the perfect treasure of heavenly instruction. The Bible is the ultimate object of our study and supreme standard for our lives.

2. We believe that only through Jesus Christ can humanity be saved and that, as Christians, worshiping Jesus should be the first consideration in everything we do.

3. We believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance from our sins. That this work of salvation is by grace and performed only though Him.

4. We believe in experimental knowledge and that Jesus can be known and that this is necessary before you die. Jesus is able to communicate peace to you though His comforter, the Holy Spirit when you are saved.

5. We believe that Jesus Christ was God in human flesh and that he was the perfect sacrifice for our sins.

6. We believe that Jesus Christ died for all and not just the elect.

7. We believe in the trinity, God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.

8. We believe that there is the one true God

9. We believe that the Church is a local body of baptized believers. We do not believe that the Church is universal.

10. We believe that Jesus Christ established his church during his earthly ministry.

11. We support an amillennial view of the end times.

12. We believe that Heaven and Hell are real places.
