Our goal is to examine traditional Baptist principles alongside the Word of God, ensuring you are “thoroughly equipped.” We want to help you study, compare, and grow so that you can better understand our ultimate authority—the Bible. This website is designed specifically to support you on that journey.

To enrich your study of God’s Word, we occasionally share resources and information that our own creators, editorial team, or board members may not fully endorse. When a presented teaching or doctrine represents a minority viewpoint, we do our best to clearly note it. Furthermore, to maintain high standards of integrity, every article, recommendation, lecture, and book is vetted by at least three members of our Editorial Board before being approved for publication.

When evaluating Scripture through a traditional Baptist lens, we consider the following points to be among some of the most essential doctrines:

1. We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is the perfect treasure of heavenly instruction. The Bible is the ultimate object of our study and supreme standard for our lives.

2. We believe that only through Jesus Christ can humanity be saved and that, as Christians, worshiping Jesus should be the first consideration in everything we do.

3. We believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance from our sins. That this work of salvation is by grace and performed only though Him.

4. We believe in experimental knowledge and that Jesus can be known and that this is necessary before you die. Jesus is able to communicate peace to you though His comforter, the Holy Spirit when you are saved.

5. We believe that Jesus Christ was God in human flesh and that he was the perfect sacrifice for our sins.

6. We believe that Jesus Christ died for all and not just the elect.

7. We believe in the trinity, God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.

8. We believe that there is the one true God

9. We believe that the Church is a local body of baptized believers. We do not believe that the Church is universal.

10. We believe that Jesus Christ established his church during his earthly ministry.

11. We support an amillennial view of the end times.

12. We believe that Heaven and Hell are real places.
